During this journey, I’ve been tuned in to Facebook for my unbiased, anti-Big Pharma resources. When you search Google for specific answers about alternative Big C care, you’re given a very doctored, filtered answer which supports their tertiary approach to care (Chemo-Radiation-Surgery).
Our immune system has intelligence. It can learn, remember, and adapt. If given the right conditions it facilitates the healing of any ailment in our bodies. What are the conditions you ask, well I’m on a journey to answer this exact question. One doctor that confirms this sentiment is Dr. Steven Baker {@dr.stevenbaker}. He gives a unique perspective on auto immune disease and the innate intelligence within our bodies. Here are a few of his thoughts (paraphrased by me):
There is no such thing as an auto-immune dis-ease, its a lie. Your immune system is not messed up. It will never do the wrong thing. It’s not attacking your body.
Your immune system is run by your nervous system. Your nervous system is consistently scanning your body with innate intelligence, its perfect.
Why would you have an auto immune dis-ease? Your immune system is attacking something that shouldn’t be there, “a foreign invader”. Its job is to attack, kill, and get rid of cellular damage. Your immune system fixes cell damage.

A Love Letter To Our Natural Killer Cells
There is an intelligence within us that predates every pharmaceutical, every diagnosis, every lab result.
Before we were given treatment plans…
Before we were given prognosis…
Before we were given fear…
We were given an immune system.
And not just a system — an intelligent one.
The Body Was Designed to Protect Itself
Our immune system is not random.
It is layered, strategic, adaptive, and extraordinarily responsive.
It communicates.
It remembers.
It distinguishes self from non-self.
It mobilizes in seconds.
From the moment we are born, it begins scanning, defending, and recalibrating.
Even when we do nothing consciously, it is working.
And at the heart of this defense lies something remarkable.
Natural Killer Cells: The Silent Guardians
Among the many components of the immune system are Natural Killer (NK) cells — part of our innate immune response.
They do not need training. They do not need prior exposure. They do not require detailed instructions.
They recognize abnormal cells quickly — including virus-infected cells and tumor cells — and they respond.
They release perforin and granzymes, proteins that penetrate compromised cells and initiate cellular self-destruction (apoptosis).
In simple terms?
They identify what does not belong…
And they remove it.
Silently. Efficiently. Relentlessly.
Built-In Surveillance
Think of NK cells as constant patrol.
Every single day, your body forms abnormal cells. This is normal biology. What keeps things balanced is not perfection — it is surveillance.
Your immune system monitors.
When NK cell activity is strong, the body maintains resilience.
When it is suppressed — by chronic stress, lack of sleep, inflammation, or emotional trauma — surveillance can weaken.
This is not about fear.
It is about awareness.
Intelligence Beyond Mechanism
What fascinates me most is this:
Your immune system adapts.
It learns.
It evolves.
It strengthens when supported.
When we nourish our bodies…
When we reduce stress…
When we create stillness…
When we believe in the body’s design…
We are not being naive.
We are cooperating with biology.
A Personal Reflection
As I walk through my own healing journey, I find deep comfort in knowing that inside me — beyond fear, beyond scans — there are cells designed to protect me.
Cells that do not panic.
Cells that do not catastrophize.
Cells that simply do their job.
Natural Killer cells are not violent.
They are precise.
They remind me that my body is not broken.
It is working.
And perhaps healing is not always about fighting.
Perhaps sometimes it is about supporting what was already brilliantly designed.
Final Thought
The immune system is not the enemy.
It is not weak by default.
It is not confused without reason.
It is intelligent.
And when we align with that intelligence —
with patience, nourishment, and reverence —
we remember something powerful:
The body knows.
